Her Story

Short Introduction of yourself
and your career.

I'm a proud mom to three amazing boys, a nurse and a passionate advocate for revolutionizing healthcare through technology. As the co-founder of The HUDDLE DAO, I lead a collective of nurses who are interested in revolutionizing healthcare with emerging technologies.

With over eighteen years of experience in critical care nursing, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges and opportunities that exist in healthcare. That's why I've dedicated myself to bridging the gap between technology and nursing, pushing boundaries, and exploring the potential of emerging technologies.

I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Nursing Informatics at Grand Canyon University to deepen my knowledge and expertise. Along the way, I've had the incredible privilege of being recognized as a leader in the Web3 community, having graduated from Mission Impact's Global Leadership Development Program and Colony DAO’s DAO club cohort.

As the "NFT NURSE," I'm passionate about advocating for healthcare advancements through Web3 technology. I believe that by leveraging the power of decentralized networks and digital assets, we can drive positive change for nurses and patients alike.

How did your interest in emerging technology begin?

My youngest son, who is a ten year old artist, introduced me to NFTs.  I immediately understood the value of digital ownership and  began studying blockchain technology.

Can you share any opportunities or challenges that you see in your
industry that can be aided
by emerging technologies?

While there are opportunities for blockchain in the healthcare industry, it's essential to acknowledge some challenges as well. These include regulatory considerations, interoperability with existing systems, scalability, and the need for industry-wide collaboration. However, with the right approach and collaboration between healthcare stakeholders and technology experts, I firmly believe that blockchain technology can revolutionize the healthcare profession, enhancing data integrity, patient care, and overall healthcare outcomes.

What has been your biggest learning in web 3?

Is there anything you wish you had known when you were starting your career?

One of the most significant lessons I've learned in the realm of Web3 is the incredible power of networks and community. It has been a transformative experience for me.  In the Web3 space, I've witnessed firsthand how the strength of a network and the power of community can drive innovation and create real impact. The collaborative and decentralized nature of Web3 technologies, such as blockchain, has opened up a world of possibilities for connecting like-minded individuals, fostering collaboration, and amplifying our collective efforts.

What advice would you give to young women aspiring to succeed in your industry?
